Easy Gingerbread House Recipe
- 1 empty half gallon lowfat milk carton, washed
- 2 lg. heavy weight paper plates (Chinet)
- About 1 pack of graham crackers
- 1 frosting recipe
- Assorted candies for decorating
- From bottom of empty lowfat milk carton measure up 5" on 2 opposite sides and 2 1/2" on other two sides.
- Cut at the 5" mark all around carton and find center on 2 (5") sides and cut to create the house peaks, trimming other two sides at the 2 1/2" line.
- Frosting: Beat ingredients on high for 7 to 10 min till frosting loses its shine.
- Cover with damp cloth while decorating.
- Using frosting as "glue", spread a layer on carton bottom and place on 1 inverted paper plate.
- Spread frosting on rim of other plate and "glue" together.
- Attach crackers to sides of carton with frosting.
- Decorate sides before putting on the roof.
