Rattlesnake Chili

  1. In a large skillet, heat the oil and add the onions.
  2. Cook the onions until they are soft and slightly tender.
  3. Add the Red Chile Sauce and the remaining ingredients.
  4. Cover the skillet and stew all of the ingredients together for approximately 1 hour.
  5. Season the chili with salt.

  8. Ancho peppers, diced, to taste
  9. 1 white onion, diced
  10. Several tomatoes, chopped
  11. Cumin, whole seeds, to taste
  12. 2 tablespoons honey
  13. 1 cup chicken stock
  14. Combine all of the ingredients in a blender and process until smooth.
