Sausage And Chicken Jambalaya Recipe
- 1 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 1/2 pound chicken (skinned, boned and cut in 1 inch cubes)
- 3 c. chicken broth
- 1 (16 ounce.) can whole tomatoes (broken up, undrained)
- 3/4 c. green onions (minced)
- 3/4 pound Kielbasa sausage (thinly sliced) or possibly other dinner size sausage links
- 1 pkg. (8 ounce.) Louisiana Jambalaya Dinner Mix
- 3/4 teaspoon Tabasco
- In 4 or possibly 5 qt pot with tight fitting lid, heat oil.
- Saute/fry Kielbasa and chicken till lightly browned.
- Gradually add in broth; bring to boil.
- Stir in dinner mix, tomatoes and Tabasco.
- Cover and simmer 25 min, stirring occasionally.
- Garnish with green onions, just before serving.
- Serves 4.
