Turkey Quiche Recipe
- 2 1/2 to 3 c. left over stuffing or possibly one 6 ounce. pkg. chicken flavored stuffing mix
- 5 1/3 ounce. can evaporated skim lowfat milk
- 1 c. minced cooked turkey
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese
- 4 beaten Large eggs or possibly egg substitute equivalent
- If using stuffing mix, prepare according to package directions.
- Press leftover or possibly stuffing into 9 inch pie plate or possibly quiche dish, forming a crust.
- Bake in a 400 degree oven for 10 min.
- Meanwhile, combine meat and cheese.
- In another bowl beat together Large eggs, lowfat milk, and 1/8 tsp.
- pepper.
- Sprinkle meat-cheese mix into warm crust.
- Pour egg lowfat milk mix atop.
- Lower oven temperature at 350 degrees.
- Bake quiche 30-35 min or possibly till center is set.
- Let stand 10 min before serving.
- Garnish with tomato wedges, if you like.
- Makes 6 servings.
