Broccoli and Three cheddar soup
- 1 chopped onion
- 1 tsp minced garlic
- 1/2 cup olive oil
- 2 generous cooking spoons of flour
- 3 carrots shredded
- 1/4 tsp ground ginger optional
- 1/4 tsp grounded mustard
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1/2 tsp white pepper (optional)
- 1 ground black pepper (to taste)
- 1 stick non salted butter
- 1 pints heavy cream
- 2 cup water
- 3 cup tripple cheddar shredded
- cup 1 to 2 stalks of broccoli (chopped)
- Saute garlic, chopped onions and olive oil in pan on medium fire until onions are slightly browned
- Stir in flour then heavy cream slowly while wisking
- Add water until desired consistency while wisking
- Add butter while stirring with spoon or wisk
- Add shredded carrots
- Add cheese while stirring in dry ingredients
- Add chopped broccoli stir in for about 5 minutes
