Turkey Chili Stew
- 1 lb extra lean ground turkey
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1 small green pepper, chopped
- 2 (15 ounce) cansspicy chili beans
- 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, rinsed and drained
- 1 (15 1/4 ounce) can whole kernel corn, drained
- 1 (14 1/2 ounce) can tomatoes with onion and garlic, diced
- 1 (8 ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 (4 ounce) can green chilies, chopped
- 2 tablespoons chili powder
- 12 teaspoon salt
- In a Dutch oven or large saucepan, cook the turkey, onion and green pepper over medium heat until meat is no longer pink.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 15 minutes, stirring occasionally.
