Flavor of the Philippines! Pork Cooked in Coconut Milk
- 300 grams Pork shoulder (thin sliced)
- 1 julienned and 1 bunch Green bell pepper or sweet pepper
- 2 Green chili or red chili
- 1 large thumb size Ginger
- 2 clove Garlic
- 200 ml Coconut milk
- 1 tbsp Vegetable oil
- 1 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 dash Coarsely ground pepper
- Slice the pork meat into pieces about 2 cm wide.
- Thinly slice the ginger and finely chop the garlic.
- Cut the green chili diagonally.
- Heat a pan and add oil, garlic, and ginger.
- Fry over low heat until fragrant and light brown.
- It is a very slow fry, about 5 minutes.
- Add pork and stir until cooked through.
- Then pour in the coconut milk.
- Mix together lightly and bring it to boil.
- Season with salt and pepper and add green chili pepper and bell pepper.
- Keep the heat low and simmer for another 6-7 minutes until the coconuts milk thickens slightly.
- It will be like this picture once the sauce reduces down.
- Done.
