Birthday Cake Hot Chocolate

• 3 cup whole milk
• 1/2 cup dry chocolate cake mix
• 1/2 cup chopped semi sweet chocolate
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• 1 vanilla frosting, to rim mug
• 1 sprinkles, to rim mug

1. Bring milk to a simmer in a medium saucepan over medium-low heat.
2. Whisk in cake mix until dissolved.
3. Add chocolate and whisk until melted.
4. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla extract.
5. To rim mugs, rub vanilla frosting onto the rim of the mug.
6. Dip into sprinkles.
