Blue Cheese Tenderloin Steaks Recipe
- 4 x Tenderloin steaks -- 1" Thick
- 2 tsp Onion -- chopped
- 2 Tbsp. Cream cheese -- softened
- 1 dsh White pepper
- 4 tsp Blue cheese -- crumbled
- 1 lrg Garlic clove -- halved
- 4 tsp Plain yogurt -- low-fat if
- 1/2 tsp Salt -- divided Desired
- 2 tsp Parsley -- minced
- Preparation Time: 22 min Combine cream cheese, blue cheese, yogurt, onion and pepper; reserve.
- Rub each side of the steaks with garlic.
- Place the steaks on a rack in the broiler pan so the surface of the meat is 2 to 3 inches from th heat.
- Broil t to 6 min.
- Season with 1/4 tsp.
- salt.
- Turn and broil 3 to 4 min.
- Season with remaining salt.
- to- each steak with an equal amount of reserved cheese mix.
- Broil an additional 1 to 2 min.
- Garnish with parsley.
- Serving suggestions: Steamed green beans with fresh lemon
