Weight Watcher's Turkey Chili
- 1-1/3 tbsp. vegetable oil
- 4 cloves garlic
- 1 lb. ground turkey
- 1 cup canned tomatoes
- 2 tsp. chili powder
- 1 tsp. ground cumin
- 1/4 tsp. hot sauce
- 8 oz. can chili beans
- 1 cup minced onion
- 1 cup minced celery
- 1 cup minced green pepper
- 1 cup V-8 juice
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- In 4-quart saucepan, heat oil and saute onions and garlic for 5 minutes.
- In nonstick skillet, saute turkey until done.
- Add to remaining ingredients, except for beans.
- Bring to a boil.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 30 minutes.
- Add drained beans and heat 5 to 10 minutes.
- Extra water may be added if desired.
