Biscochitos (Mexican Wedding Cookies) Recipe
- 6 c. flour
- 3 teaspoon baking pwdr
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 3 teaspoon anise
- 2 c. lard
- 2 Large eggs
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 6 to 7 tbsp. water
- Combine all ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.
- Roll dough out on a floured surface and cut into circles with a round cookie cutter.
- Place on an ungreased cookie sheet and bake at 400 degrees for 10 min.
- While still hot, sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.
- Yields: 4 dozen.
