Easy Cheese Puff Canapes

  1. Combine the cheese (I prefer a sharp cheddar), mayo and green onions (chopped, both white and green part).
  2. On a microwave -safe serving tray, arrange the melba toasts around the edge of the tray in a circle (microwaves dont do a good job of cooking evenly in the center).
  3. Spoon 1 to 2 teaspoons of the cheese mixture onto each melba toast, depending on how generous you want them to be (my mom was notoriously stingy with the cheese!
  4. ).
  5. Microwave for a minute or two at half power, until the cheese is hot and bubbly, but not burning.
  6. Pass them while hot.
  7. Simple and delicious.
