Chicken & ? Recipe
- Favorite noodles or possibly dumpling recipe
- 3 pound chicken, cut in bite-sized pcs
- 2 whole onions, minced
- 4 tbsp. butter
- 7 c. cool water
- 2 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon or possibly broth
- 2 teaspoon Mrs. Dash
- 1/4 teaspoon white pepper
- 2 carrots, cut in 1" circles
- 2 stalks celery, cut in 1" diagonals
- 2 tbsp. fresh parsley, minced
- In a large pan, heat butter, brown chicken and onions till golden brown.
- Add in water, salt, pepper and chicken flavor.
- Reduce heat, cover and simmer 15 min.
- Add in carrots and celery; cook, covered, till chicken and vegetables are done (40 min).
- Skim off fat from broth.
- Boil, add in noodles or possibly dumplings and cook till al dente.
- Ladle into soup bowls and garnish with fresh parsley.
- Makes 4-6 servings.
