Tequila and Tonic
- 1/4 lime
- Coarse salt for coating the rim of the glass
- 2 jiggers (3 ounces) tequila
- Chilled tonic water
- 2 thin lime slices
- Rub the rim of a highball glass with the 1/4 lime and dip it into a bowl of coarse salt to coat it lightly.
- Fill glass with ice and squeeze remaining juice from lime into it.
- Add tequila and stir.
- Fill with tonic and add lime slices.
