Nutty Brown Sugar Squash

  1. Pour water into a 13"x9" baking dish; add squash cut-side down and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes or until tender.
  2. Remove from pan; fill each half with one tablespoon brown sugar, one teaspoon butter, salt and pepper to taste and 1/4 cup pecans.
  3. Return to oven and bake an additional 10 minutes.
