Toffee Blondie Bars
- 1 pkg. (200 g) Ritz Crackers, crushed
- 1 can (300 mL) sweetened condensed milk
- 1-1/2 cups toffee bits, divided
- 125 g (1/2 of 250-g pkg.) Philadelphia Brick Cream Cheese, softened
- 1 Tbsp. butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cups icing sugar
- Heat oven to 350 degrees F.
- Line 8-inch square pan with foil, with ends of foil extending over sides; spray with cooking spray.
- Combine cracker crumbs, milk and 1 cup toffee bits; press into bottom of prepared pan.
- Bake 15 to 18 min.
- or until centre is set.
- Cool completely.
- Beat cream cheese and butter in large bowl with mixer until blended.
- Gradually add sugar, beating well after each addition; spread onto dessert.
- Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits.
- Let stand until icing is firm.
- Use foil handles to lift dessert from pan before cutting into bars.
