Grilled Cheesy Ranch Burgers
- 1 pound Hamburger meat (80-20 mix)
- 1/2 cup shredded Cheese
- 1/4 cup Bread crumbs, plain
- 2 tablespoons dry Ranch mix
- 1 teaspoon parsley, dried
- 1/2 teaspoon Garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon Onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon powdered Ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheese, any (I prefer sharp cheddar)
- Mix hamburger ingredients well and make into 4 equal sized patties (place a dimple in the middle of each patty).
- Refrigerate 4 to 24 hours.
- Set up your grill for Direct Heat.
- Place burgers on the grill directly over the heat.
- Cook for about 4 to 5 minutes on the first side (gently rotate on the grill as needed to avoid the hot spots).
- When the juices begin to collect on the top of the burger "gently flip" them over and continue cooking.
- When the juices run clear, top with cheese before removing from the grill.
- Remove from the grill and cool for about 5 minutes before serving.
- Why they're cooling you can toast your buns directly on the grill.
