Classic BBQ Pork Chops

  1. Mix water, 2 Tbsp.
  2. sugar and salt until sugar and salt are dissolved.
  3. Pour over chops in resealable plastic bag.
  4. Seal bag; turn to evenly coat chops with brine.
  5. Refrigerate 1 hour.
  6. Meanwhile, mix remaining sugar and seasonings.
  7. Heat grill to medium-high heat.
  8. Remove chops from brine; discard bag and brine.
  9. Coat chops evenly with seasoning mixture.
  10. Grill 5 to 6 min.
  11. on each side or until done (145 degrees F), brushing with barbecue sauce for the last few minutes.
  12. Remove from grill.
  13. Let stand 3 min.
