White Italian Pasta Recipe

  1. Saute/fry green onions in butter in deep saucepan till soft.
  2. Add in mushrooms and simmer 10 min, stirring often.
  3. Blend in flour, warmed lowfat milk and heavy cream, stirring constantly till the sauce is smooth and thick.
  4. Add in cheeses, salt and pepper and heat till cheese melts and sauce is mixed well.
  5. Stir in crisply steamed cauliflower and cooked pasta.
  6. Heat till warmed through.
  7. Serve with salad and garlic or possibly cheese bread for a complete filling meal.
  8. Serves 5 to 6.
