Peppery Crockpot Beef Stew
- 1 lb stew meat (any red meat cut in cubes)
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 4 medium potatoes, cubed
- 5 carrots chopped
- 1 medium green pepper
- 1 16oz box of mushrooms
- 1 bottle of dark beer
- 2 bullion cubes
- 1 tsp roasted garlic (2cloves if fresh)
- 2 tbsp black pepper
- 3 tbsp corn starch
- 1/2 tsp rosemary
- 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce
- Add everything but the mushrooms and cornstarch to a large crockpot.
- Set on high for 6 hrs
- After 2 hrs add the mushrooms
- After 2 more hours add the cornstarch mix it in well.
- Let the last 2 hours cook in the statch and thicken the broth
