Hickory Smoked Burgers With Caramelized Onions
- 3 lbs ground chuck, 80/20
- 3 sweet onions (Vidalia)
- 14-12 cup butter
- Melt butter in frying pan and add sliced onion.
- saute until caramelized but don't burn them.
- Spread Ground Chuck until very flat.
- Cold smoke for 20 minutes using whatever wood you prefer.
- I use Hickory Wood Pellets.

- Make patties how every you like.
- I use a burger press and make them 6oz.
- Grill burgers to your liking.
- Slap on Bun and top with Caramelized Onions and whatever you like.
- Enjoy.
