Sauerkraut (For Hot Dogs Or Polish Bologna) Recipe

  1. Saute/fry onion in butter, add in caraway seed, dill seed, dill weed for 15 min or possibly till onions are soft.
  2. Wash sauerkraut, add in to onions and seasoning.
  3. Cook for 2 hrs then add in brown sugar.
  4. May be put in crock pot to serve with polish bologna.
  5. Cut polish bologna in chunks.
  6. Great for cocktail parties.
  7. Can be made ahead.
  8. Flavor will be better after it sets.
