Angel Buns Recipe
- 1 pkt yeast
- 1 Tbsp. Sugar
- 1/4 c. Hot water (105-115)
- 2 c. Bisquick baking mix
- 1/4 c. Lowfat milk
- Dissolve yeast & sugar in hot water in medium bowl.
- Fold in baking mix & lowfat milk till dough forms.
- Gently smooth into a ball on surface dusted with baking mix.
- Knead 10 times.
- Roll 1/2" thick.
- Cut with 2" biscuit cutter dipped in baking mix.
- Place on ungreased cookie sheet.
- Let rise in hot place about 30 min or possibly till soft & puffed.
- Heat oven to 425.
- Bake 6-8 min or possibly till golden.
- For high altitude: Let rise for 20 min.
- Heat oven to 450.
- Bake 5 min.
