Maple Sausage Balls with Maple Dijon sauce

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F and grease a large baking sheet.
  2. Combine cheese, baking mix, and seasonings into a large bowl.
  3. Then add and incorporate the sausage with your hands or if you prefer you can use a spoon.
  4. Trust me its easier with your hands.
  5. Then add the milk slowly and not all at once.
  6. Use your judgment about the consistency of the dough.
  7. If it is too dry add a little more milk, if its too wet then stop adding milk.
  8. Last but not least, add that delicious maple syrup.
  9. I know that pure maple syrup can be on the pricey side, so if you cant get it then regular syrup will do just fine.
  10. Drop the dough onto greased baking sheet by rounded tablespoon fulls (or you can use a cookie dough scoop).
  11. Bake for 15-20 minutes until tops are specked with golden brown.
  12. Dipping Sauce: Combine the last 3 ingredients and stir well!
  13. Make sure to refrigerate the sauce until youre ready to eat.
