Apple and Banana Pound Cake Made with Pancake Mix
- 1 Apple
- 2 Bananas
- 30 grams Margarine
- 1 Egg
- 200 grams Pancake mix
- Peel the apple and slice into thin wedges.
- Microwave at 500 W for 3 and 1/2 minutes, then let it cool down.
- Mash the banana.
- I slice it thinly before mashing it.
- Put the apple, banana, margarine, egg and pancake mix into a bowl in that order, and mix.
- Preheat the oven to 180C.
- Pour the batter into a tin lined with parchment paper, and bake for 35-40 minutes at 180C.
- Check on it while it's baking, and cover with foil after around 25-30 minutes.
- It's done when a skewer poked through the middle comes out clean.
- Bake for a little longer if necessary.
- Cover it with a moist cloth, and slice it when cooled.
- It might be tastier if you leave it a day before eating.
