Jagermeister and Honey Bundt Cake
- 2 1/4 cup all purpose flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 2 tsp ground ginger
- 2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp ground cloves
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 stick unsalted butter
- 1 cup packed light brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup honey
- 1/2 cup Jagermeister
- 3/4 cup hot water
- 1/3 cup Jagermeister
- 1/2 stick unsalted butter
- 1 confectioners sugar for dusting
- pre heat oven to 350F
- spray bundt pan with non stick spray
- mix flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, cloves and salt in a bowl and set aside
- in another bowl beat brown sugar and butter together
- beat in one egg at a time then add honey and Jager
- now add the first bowl of flour mixture
- mix in the hot water until well mixed then pour in the bundt pan
- bake for 40 to 45 mins
- let cool for 15 mins
- melt butter in a sauce pan until melted then remove from heat and stir in the Jager and brush on the the bottom of the cake and wait 5 mins
- flip cake on to a serving plate and add the rest of the glaze to the top and let cool completely
- lightly shake confectioners sugar on top
