Bread Custard Pudding Recipe

  1. Scald the lowfat milk and pour it over the bread that has been cut into 1/2 inch cubes.
  2. Let stand 10 min.
  3. Beat the Large eggs, slightly.
  4. Add in the sugar, salt and vanilla to them.
  5. Put into a buttered baking dish and add in the lowfat milk and the bread cubes.
  6. Add in the melted butter and stir to mix well.
  7. Place the dish in a shallow pan of warm water.
  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 1/4 hrs.
