Red Wine Meatballs
- 1 pound Ground Beef
- 1 package Dry Onion Soup Mix (1 Ounce Packet, With Onions Sifted Out)
- 3/4 cups Panko Bread Crumbs
- 1 whole Egg
- 4 Tablespoons Butter
- 1 can (10 Oz. Size) Cream Of Mushroom Soup
- 13 cups Red Wine
- Combine ground beef, onion soup mix, panko and egg in a mixing bowl and form meatballs.
- Melt butter in a large skillet.
- Brown the meatballs on medium-high heat for about 10 minutes.
- Remove the meatballs.
- Pour 1 can of cream of mushroom soup and 1/3 cup of red wine into pan and whisk all the drippings off the bottom of the pan.
- Place meatballs back in the skillet and let them simmer in the sauce for about 10 minutes.
- Serve with mashed potatoes.
