Deep Fried Tofu with Savory Sauce
- 1 block Tofu
- 100 ml Water
- 4 tbsp Mentsuyu or "Tsuyu no Moto"
- 2 tbsp Mirin
- 1 Grated daikon radish
- Cut the tofu into easy-to-eat sizes and coat with katakuriko.
- Generously oil a frying pan and fry both sides.
- Once browned, add the mentsuyu, water, grated daikon radish and mirin.
- Boil until the ingredients become thickened and it's done.
