Lisa's banana pudding from scratch

  1. Combine 1/2 cup sugar, flour and salt.
  2. Stir in egg yolks and milk.
  3. Blend well.
  4. Cook uncovered on medium heat until bringing to boil.
  5. Stirring constantly until thickets.
  6. Remove from heat.
  7. Add vanilla extract.
  8. Spread mixture over layers of bills wafers and sliced bananas.
  9. Use remaining sugar and egg whites from merengue on top.
  10. Stirring together until it thickens.
  11. Bake at 425F for about five minutes or until top is brown.
