Turkey Layered Casserole
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. long grain and wild rice mix
- 2 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen broccoli spears
- 4 to 6 c. cubed, cooked turkey
- 6 slices American cheese
- 1 (4 oz.) jar mushroom slices, drained
- 1 (8 oz.) can sliced water chestnuts
- 1 (10 3/4 oz.) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
- 1/2 c. mayonnaise or salad dressing
- 1 (14 1/2 oz.) can chicken broth
- 1 (2 1/2 oz.) can French fried onions
- Cook rice according to package directions.
- Cook broccoli according to package directions.
- Layer cooked rice, turkey, cooked broccoli, cheese slices, mushrooms and water chestnuts. Stir together soup, mayonnaise and chicken broth.
- Pour over layers in dish.
- Top with onions.
- Bake, uncovered, in a 350u0b0 oven for 35 to 40 minutes or until heated through.
- Makes 8 to 10 servings.
