Biscuits For Your Heart's Content Heart Healthy Recipe
- 2 c. Flour
- 3 tsp Baking pwdr
- 1/3 c. Oil
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 2/3 c. Nonfat lowfat milk Serves 18 42%
- A light fluffy biscuit without the saturated fat.
- Preheat oven to 475 degrees F. Sift flour, baking pwdr and salt.
- Measure oil and lowfat milk into c. but do not stir.
- Add in all at once to flour mix.
- Stir with fork till mix leaves side of bowl and forms ball.
- Knead 10 times.
- Roll out (1/4" thick) and cut with floured glass or possibly biscuit cutter.
- Bake 10-12 min.
