Crabmeat-Shrimp Pasta Salad
- 1 lb. shrimp
- 6 oz. seashell macaroni
- 1 c. thinly sliced celery
- 1/2 medium green pepper, chopped fine
- 1/2 small purple onion, chopped
- 1 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/4 c. mayonnaise
- 1/4 c. Italian salad dressing
- 1 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp. dried whole oregano, crushed
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- dash of pepper
- 8 oz. lump crabmeat, drained
- Boil, peel and devein shrimp; set aside.
- Cook macaroni according to package directions, omitting salt.
- Drain.
- Rinse with cold water.
- Drain.
- Add next 6 ingredients.
- Blend.
- Combine mayonnaise, salad dressing, lemon juice and seasonings.
- Add to macaroni mixture.
- Stir in crabmeat and shrimp.
- Chill.
- Yields 7 servings.
