Shahana's Basic White (Cream) Lactose-Free Sauce

  1. In small saucepan over very low heat melt margarine.
  2. Add flour, pepper, salt, paprika.
  3. Stir until blended and smooth.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, for 4-5 minutes to cook the flour.
  5. Slowly add milk, stirring to avoid lumping.
  6. Cook, until thickened.
  7. Add additional seasoning ie dill or curry.
  8. Taste and adjust seasoning if desired.
