Weenie Dogs

  1. Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a baking sheet with cooking spray.
  2. Combine two rolls and flatten them into a rectangle large enough to place the hot dog on.
  3. Place a hot dog on the dough and roll the dough around it, leaving plenty of excess dough on one end to make the head.
  4. Pinch a small tail on the other end of the dog.
  5. Make a head-sized round at the other end and pinch the dough together behind the head to form the neck (see photo).
  6. Cut another roll into three pieces.
  7. The first piece should be slightly larger than 1/2 of the roll.
  8. Half the remaining piece.
  9. Roll the largest piece into a 6-inch rope that is very thin in the center.
  10. Lay the rope over the pinched neck and flatten the ends to make the ears.
  11. Roll the other two pieces into 4-inch ropes that are thin in the center but have small balls on the ends.
  12. Place these under the dog to make the feet.
  13. Bake for 20 minutes or until golden brown.
  14. Use cheese and black beans for eyes and nose.
