Chocolate Crunchies
- 6 semi-sweet chocolate baking squares, chopped
- 27 jumbo marshmallows (or 1 package regular marshmallows)
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1 tablespoon rum flavoring or 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups rice, zkrispies
- 12 cup baker's angel flake coconut
- 12 cup pecans, chopped
- Melt chocolate over low heat, stirring until melted.
- Stir in marshmallows, milk and rum flavoring; continue stirring over low heat until melted.
- Add cereal, coconut and nuts.
- Mix lightly.
- Cool slightly.
- Form into 1-inch balls.
- Roll in additional coconut or nuts, if desired.
- Chill until firm.
