Apple and Almond Crumble
- 2 cup almond flour
- 2 large eggs
- 1 1/2 tbsp double acting baking powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 large fuji apple
- 1 large granny Smith apple
- 1 large golden delicious apple
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 tsp Hersey extra dark special cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper, optional
- 1/4 cup water
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup cashew nuts
- 1/3 cup soften butter
- 1 nonstick spray
- Preheat oven 400 Fahrenheit
- Core and Cube the apples, leave peelings on.
- Spray an oven safe dish with nonstick spray.
- Add apples.
- Mix salt, almond flour, baking powder, pecans, cashews, eggs, honey, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, half the cocoa powder, and water.
- Add to apples and mix well.
- Sprinkle rest of cocoa powder on top.
- Cover with butter.
- Bake 45 minutes or till done.
- Almond flour will burn if not cautious.
- Let sit 10-15 minutes.
