Key Lime Cake
- 1 (18.25oz) package of lemon cake mix
- 1 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- 4 eggs
- 1 (3oz) package of lime gelatin mix
- 3/4 cup orange juice
- 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
- 1 (8oz) package of cream cheese
- 3 tbsp fresh lime juice
- 4 cup congectioners sugar
- Preheat oven at 350.
- Combine cake mix, oil, eggs, gelatin, and orange juice in large bowl.
- Mix well until all lumps are out.
- Pour batter into 2 greased 9 in pans.
- Bake according to box instructions or until toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool.
- To make frosting.
- In large bowl, beat the butter and cream cheese until light and fluffy.
- Add lime juice and confectioners sugar.
- Mix well.
