YMUSTUHATE my Chitterlings
- 1 bucket of Chitterlings
- 1 onion
- 1 1/2 tsp minced garlic
- 1 large potato
- 2 tbsp vinegar
- 2 tbsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1 1/2 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
- 1 tsp Lawery's seasoning salt
- 1/3 cup Frank's red hot sauce
- 1 tsp Cheyenne pepper
- 1 tbsp vinegar
- 2 cup cold water
- CLEAN Chitterlings
- place in (cleaning ingredients) cold water and 1 tablespoon of vinegar and let soak for 20-30 minutes
- drain, place in pot with enough water to cover them
- being to a boil on med-high heat
- drain, rinse with warm water and fill up pot again covering Chitterlings with water
- turn heat to med-low, dice potato and slice onion
- add potato & onion to simmering pot
- add seasonings, minced garlic and vinegar
- IF ADDING SPICE ADD NOW
- Simmer pot covered for 3 hours until tender
