Marinated and Deep Fried Mackerel
- 3 Mackerel
- 1 Ginger
- 1 tsp Garlic powder
- 2 tbsp Soy sauce
- 1 tbsp Sake
- 1 Katakuriko
- 1 Vegetable oil
- Gut, clean, and fillet the fish into 3 slices and cut into 3 pieces (adjust the pieces to the size of the entire fish).
- Mix all the ingredients.
- Put the chopped mackerel into a plastic bag, and gently rub the mixed ingredients from Step 2.
- Chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutes to half a day.
- Coat each fish with katakuriko and fry both sides under medium low heat.
- Remove excess oil with kitchen paper and it's done!
