Chicken Livers on English Muffins
- 2 slices bacon
- 1 lb chicken liver
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 12 lb mushroom, sliced
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch, it said flour
- 12 teaspoon dried basil
- 12 cup chicken stock
- 12 cup light cream
- 4 English muffins, split and toasted
- fry bacon until crisp remove.
- brown livers in bacon grease and butter
- remove
- brown mushrooms and onions next
- stir 1/2 and 1/2 and stock and cornstarch and basil together add to mushrooms stir cook until thick add in livers
- cook until livers are warmed and bubbly
- serve over muffins and top with crumbled bacon.
