Hawaij/All-Purpose Seasoning
- 3 tablespoons coarsely ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons ground cumin
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground turmeric
- 1 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1 teaspoon ground sumac
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt (optional)
- Whisk pepper, cumin, turmeric, cardamom, sumac, and salt together in a bowl.
- Store in a container with a lid in a dark place for up to 6 months.
