Crabmeat Medley
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. medium shell macaroni, cooked
- 1/3 c. chopped green onions
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 Tbsp. margarine
- 1 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1/2 c. dry white wine
- 1/2 tsp. dried basil
- 1 c. carrots, sliced thin
- 1/2 lb. fresh broccoli, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 lb. frozen imitation crabmeat, thawed, rinsed and drained
- Saute onions and garlic over medium heat in skillet sprayed with vegetable spray.
- Remove from skillet.
- Melt margarine in skillet.
- Add flour; cook over medium heat for 1 minute.
- Stir constantly.
- Gradually stir in wine; continue cooking and stirring until mixture is thickened.
- Add onion and garlic mixture and basil to sauce, then add carrots, broccoli and crabmeat to sauce. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until vegetables are tender.
- Remove from heat.
- Add cooked pasta; toss gently.
- Serves 6.
