Glazed Cranberries for the Fireplace

  1. In saucepan combine sugar and water.
  2. Cook over low heat for 2 minutes.
  3. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes or until cranberries begin to pop.
  4. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
  5. With slotted spoon remove rind, stick and cranberries.
  6. Cook until syrup is thick.
  7. Pour syrup over cranberries.
  8. Cool and refrigerate.
