Classic Southern Baked Beans
- 1 (32 ounce) cancampbell's pork and beans
- 1 small onion, diced
- 3 slices bacon, cut into strips
- 14 cup molasses
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon dry mustard
- 14 cup ketchup
- 2 -3 drops liquid smoke
- Brown bacon with onion until onion is opaque.
- Mix in the rest of the ingrediants (I just mix in the skillet that I cooked the bacon and onion in) and then pour a medium casserole dish.
- Bake at 350 for about 45 minutes until it has a slight crust.
- Can also be put in a crockpot for a few hours until the flavors melt together.
