Tender Pressure Cooker Spareribs

  1. Quickly boil the spare ribs in hot water, transfer into cold water, and wash.
  2. Thinly slice the ginger root.
  3. Place the spare ribs and the ingredients in a pressure cooker, and cook over high heat.
  4. After the cooker has come up to pressure, lower the heat to medium-low.
  5. Cook under pressure for 20 to 25 minutes.
  6. Let cool for 10~15 minutes.
  7. Tilt the pot at an angle, and make sure no more steam is coming out before opening the lid.
  8. Flip the meat over, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  9. Let the ribs cool in the pot.
  10. Heat them up right before serving.
  11. They will have soaked up the flavors and become even more delicious.
