Tender Pressure Cooker Spareribs
- 500 grams Pork spare ribs
- 1 piece Ginger Root
- 3 tbsp Mirin
- 100 ml Sake
- 1 tbsp Soy sauce
- 2 tbsp Usukuchi soy sauce
- Quickly boil the spare ribs in hot water, transfer into cold water, and wash.
- Thinly slice the ginger root.
- Place the spare ribs and the ingredients in a pressure cooker, and cook over high heat.
- After the cooker has come up to pressure, lower the heat to medium-low.
- Cook under pressure for 20 to 25 minutes.
- Let cool for 10~15 minutes.
- Tilt the pot at an angle, and make sure no more steam is coming out before opening the lid.
- Flip the meat over, and simmer for another 5 minutes.
- Let the ribs cool in the pot.
- Heat them up right before serving.
- They will have soaked up the flavors and become even more delicious.
