Hot Chinese Chicken Salad Recipe

  1. Roll chicken in cornstarch.
  2. Brown quickly in warm oil.
  3. Sprinkle with garlic.
  4. Add in chestnuts, mushrooms, celery, onion, and dash of salt and pepper.
  5. Stir in soy sauce.
  6. Cover and simmer 5 min.
  7. Don't over cook; vegetables should be tender crisp.
  8. Cook pea pods according to package instructions and add in last.
  9. Serve with rice.
  10. Makes 4 to 6 servings.
  11. May be garnished with tomato slivers or possibly almonds.
