Asian Spicy Orange Beef Recipe
- 1 lb Beef flank or possibly round steak
- 2 Tbsp. Corn oil
- 1/4 c. Slivered orange peel
- 1 cl Chopped garlic
- 1/2 tsp Grnd ginger
- 2 Tbsp. Corn starch
- 1 c. Cold beef broth
- 1/4 c. Soy sauce
- 1/4 c. Dry sherry
- 1/4 c. Orange marmalade
- 1/2 tsp Crushed dry red pepper
- In Wok medium heat oil: Add in meat 1/3 at a time.Stir fry 3 min or possibly till browned.
- Return all beef to Wok.
- Add in: peel, garlic and ginger.
- Stir fry 1 minute.
- Stir together: corn starch, beef broth, soy sauce, sherry, marmalade and pepper.
- Stir into beef.
- Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat.
- Boil 1 minute.
- Serve over rice.
- Serves 4.
