Dad's Chocolate Sour Cream Cake

• 3 ounces chocolate unsweetened unsweetened
• 2 1/4 cups cake flour sifted
• 2 tablespoons baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup butter
• 2 1/4 cups brown sugar
• 3 large eggs
• 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 cup sour cream
• 1 cup water boiling

1. Melt chocolate in small bowl over heat and cool.
2. Preheat oven to 350F (180C).
3. Grease and flour 2 9 1/2 inch cake pans.
4. Mix ingredients and bake for 35 minutes.
5. Cool for 10 minutes.
