Christie's Spaghetti and Meatballs
- 500 g minced beef
- 1 onion (chopped)
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 pinch nutmeg
- 34 teaspoon salt
- 14 teaspoon pepper
- 3 tablespoons tomato ketchup
- 2 eggs (lightly beaten)
- 1 pinch cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground cloves
- 3 tablespoons oil
- 1 garlic clove
- 220 g tomato sauce
- 1 cup water
- Mix mince, onion, breadcrumbs, ketchup, eggs, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, salt and pepper together.
- Shape into balls.
- Heat oil in a large frying pan and brown the meatballs and the garlic.
- Combine the tomato sauce and water and add to frying pan.
- Cook on low heat for 15-20 minutes.
- Cook spaghetti noodles.
- Serve garnished with cheese and parsley.
